Easy Tips for Locking Apps on Android

This post is about how to lock apps on Android. We all know that it can be a pain in the butt when we have to unlock our phone just to check one app out, and then go back and lock it again. This process often involves multiple steps, which increases the chances of us forgetting what we were doing in the first place!

In this article, I will give you 10 easy tips for locking your app so that you never have to worry about unlocking them ever again.

Some of these options are available on all Android devices, however, some may be exclusive to certain phones or tablets. Let’s get started!

Using The Built-In Function of Android

In case your smartphone is made by one of these manufacturers, you might not even need a third-party app for apps. Plus using inbuilt security features on the phone itself will be more secure than opting out with an external tool!

Using App Lock on Samsung Devices

Some lower-end/mid-range Samsung devices may come preinstalled with their own App Lock app called S Secure. It can be invoked from within the following menu:

Settings > Device Management (aka Titanium) – Smart Switch or My Accounts Menu depending on your model number

Open Settings.
Scroll to Advanced Features and look for an option called Lock & Mask Apps, if it is not already selected.

The Lock and Mask apps option should now be visible on your phone. Tap it to set up the app, or go straight to Step 3 if you want!
Start the switch on.
When you select a pattern, PIN, or password to unlock your phone for the first time and then again after updates that option will be replaced by Face Unlock. The process is simple: just look into this little camera on the front of your device with one eye closed (use caution), compare yourself against their database of facial models; if it recognizes an enrolled user they’ll let them in!

If you own a OnePlus smartphone, your device already comes with an app lock feature of its own. Here’s how to enable it and keep others from accessing private data on your phone or tablet!

People usually use thumbnails or passwords to protect their phones but these can be bypassed by thieves who will find ways around them anyway if they’re not careful enough when setting up security measures in advance for every application they plan to install into the gadget later down the road such as bank websites.

Go to settings.
Run the utilities.
Now, choose the App Locker.
In the next window, select the screen locker.
You can choose how you want the lock screen notifications to display and tap Done.
The App locker will start. Click the option in order to add an app.
Choose the app that you wanted to lock.
After that, you can go back to see if the app that you’ve chosen was listed.

How to Enable the App Lock on your Xiaomi or Poco Smartphone

If you have an MIUI-based device running POCOs, this is how it can be enabled.

Open settings and tap Apps from in there scroll down until finding App Lock at bottom left corner with an option of Turn On alongside preselected apps that will most likely need protection if not already locked by another means such as password or pattern unlock before proceeding further into a process where next screen displays a list for selecting which applications should get added onto their respective slots – select all desired programs

When you get to the next screen, it may ask for your account credentials. It’s not required but if want full access and privacy then enter them now so they don’t have an excuse later!
